The controls for Both P1 and P2 for Mortal Kombat 3 or any game can be set to whatever way you want. Genesis games have “A, B, C, Start, Left, Right, Up, Down” and the six button Controllers have those buttons plus “X, Y, Z and Mode”. It's easy to set and makes the games that much easier to play if you set them the way your most comfortable. As soon as you open the game, Do you see those tabs that say “File, Country, Video, Sound, CD Drive, Options and Help”? Click on the Options tab, then Set Config. A Pop-up should appear, when it does, click on the Controllers tab. Do you see Something that says Port 1? Change that to 3-button (or 6-button if you prefer) then do you see the USE? if it doesn't say Keyboard, change it to keyboard, if it does say keyboard, do anything to it. Click on the Button that says Define right next to the Keyboard thing. Then press whatever you feel comfortable with, just remember what buttons you pressed to set the controls. ok so any halo 3 fan is like masterchiefLOL ok so heres the drill i use the second directional buttons (on keyboard)j,k,l are a,b,c for P2 ok u happy??good.

Did you already set the config or do you know what buttons on your keyboard do what function? If you already know, whatever button moves the soldiers and whatever button shoots bullets, press them both at the same time to shoot a grenade or bazooka.

There are two ways to save your game, one way (the recommended way) is to do what your already doing, saving it too the C: drive. This option is known as the Save state as. The other way is to save your game into slots. There are ten slots so you can save your game into ten slots at ten different times. Press F6 or F7 to switch the slot, Press F5 to save the game on selected slot, Press F8 to load the selected slot. Both ways work but the first way is better because they are permanent unless you delete it, the second way works too but sometimes, very rarely but sometimes the slots erase but that never happens with any games I play except for X-men 2 and Bart's Nightmare.

I can tell you what to do on the level, it's a hard level so it'll take some tries to actually beat it. here's a guide on how :).
Just Can’t Wait To Be King
In the first part you have to jump on the heads of giraffes. Then you get to an area with monkeys in trees. Roar at the two pink ones then
jump on the rhino to go to the first ostrich ride. The first one is pretty straightforward, just follow the arrows: up is
jump, down is duck, and 2 ups is double jump. On the second ride,
jump, duck, jump, jump, duck, double jump, duck, duck, and double jump.
Now, roar at the monkey by the third continue marker, and jump on the
left rhino. When you’re stopped by another pink monkey, roar at it,
then jump across the logs to the side you were on and jump on the rhino
again. Then roar at the two pink monkeys on the island you’re on and
grab the bonus bug while you’re there. Now, jump on the rhino and exit
the level.
I don't know what you mean about saving pics and making an album. Pics of the game itself while your playing it or of yourself or what?

I just read and took down how you configure a game using the keyboard. I imagine it's the same with the gamepad or analog controllers. Although my controllers work just fine when I test them in windows (control panel), nothing happens in the game. Is there anything else that I must do for the controllers to work?
In the meantime, I'll attempt to work the games through the keyboard and mouse.

What a great site. Just found it and I love it. I want to start using a controller instead of the keyboard with some of the games like Desert Strike, Is this easy to do (and how do you do it) and are there any controllers that work well and if so what are they?

I use a PlayStation 3 controller which has a USB port connection, And this works great with Saga and Nintendo games especially because the lay out is the same just change O to A, X to B etc and you have your old games the same way as you remember!, You set it up in options controls set keys to you desired or though your Windows / Mac needs to know it's installed, You need the control panel for that stuff but you should get it!.

Before hitting Esc for full screen click on options then controllers set config then select what you want to use I.E Game pad, Keyboard, Then click define and read the bottom of the window and hit the key you want to use for that function and you done, Plus you'll never have to do it again!, Hope this helps.

First of all, Thank you JGCD and Indulged 1, reading your post really helped me understand the config set-up
and control keys. Playing the games is much easier now, especially since I have to keep doing level 1 and 2
over and over..again and again. I can't get past the 3rd on the Batman game, It has two guys running and sliding
They move so fast, I've squaded and kicked them, shoot them, jump on them…Please HELP….with the secrets
for this game. How many level does this game have? I appreicate the help and thank you in advance.

The game is from Fusion 3.51, Mega Drive-BATMAN, by Steve Snake (Jan 5, 2006) and it says SEGA as it opens.
It starts of in the city street with buildings and you have to knock out all the guys walking up to BATMAN or jumping down
from the building to get him. The next level is beating up a boxer by shooting him and jumped on him. Then it goes to the two runners That slide on the floor when they're near BATMAN, they don't seem to end.
The story for this game says:
Gotham City is gearing up for the 200th anniversary festival
Joker is planning on poisoning the people with DDID nerve gas and BATMAN finds the anidote to the DDID gas.
I hope you know which one it is and can help me, I appricate you answering so fast, made me so happy for a moment.

I still do not know which one you mean say like The Adventures Of Batman & Robin Etc, Because Fusion is the emulator name 3.51 is the version and Steve Snake is the guy who made the emulator, Sorry i have played all the Batman games on this site and gameguerilla.com so i have a hard time remembering which one's which.

It's one of the old one, maybe the first one made for batman. I thought these old ones would be easier to learn and play…. that's not the case. I would need a fast walk through with each level, so it seems. I
searched for hints, tips but those are extra tips for when you already know what to do and play the game.
I found this tip for Infinite Life……On title screem…press… Up,Up,Down, Up,Up,Down,Down, Left, Right,Left,
Right then A and B simultanelously.
I found this tip for Infinite Life/Level Skip……Type “JAMMM” at the title screen…to activate level skip
press F10
I tried the second tip it didn't work I still died, do I have to type " with the word.too, on the title screen?

Well i have got know idea where you got that last cheat but i think someone's pulling a prank, Because codes do not work like that unless there is a password save but then still pressing F10 will only operate the sound options in the emulator, Right there is one other cool thing with this emulator is it has Game Genie built in, Here are some codes:~
First enter E2ET-AA4C to activate the cheats, Infinite lives AKFT-AA4Y, You can find meny more if you google Game Genie codes.
